Uddeholm Vanadis 30 SuperClean
Description
High-speed powder metallurgical steel with a high cobalt content, being equivalent to AISI M3: 2 + Co. Exceptional compressive strength (67 HRC) and good abrasive wear resistance make this steel ideal for cold work applications and cutting tools as an alternative to AISI M42 or other cobalt high-speed steels. Being a powder metallurgical steel, the machinability, rectificability and dimensional stability are referential.
