Uddeholm Mirrax 40
Description
Electro Slag Remelted (ESR) stainless steel, prehardened and supplied with a hardness of 40 HRC. In addition to the corrosion resistance, a remelted steel allows a high gloss polishing. It has the best combination of toughness, ductility and corrosion resistance in the medium and long series without the risk of failure. In plastic injection moulds, where the manufacturing speed of the mould, corrosion resistance, machinability and high gloss polishing are the requirements, it is the right choice.
