Description

Electro Slag Remelted (ESR) steel specially developed for large plastic injection moulds that require corrosion resistance and/or high gloss polishing. It is characterized by high temperability throughout the section, good ductility and toughness, high corrosion resistance and low maintenance, excellent polishing and high wear resistance. It is also the ideal choice for applications where contamination is unacceptable, such as the medical industry, optics and other high quality transparent products.
