Uddeholm RoyAlloy
Description
Developed with the goal of providing superior performance in the manufacture and operation of moulds for plastics and rubber. In this way, extensive tests and studies have been carried out which demonstrate that it is easily machinable, has excellent surface finish and quality threading. Bending tests demonstrate that it can be subjected to considerable effort without fracture. Being a prehardened steel (approximately 321 HB) and due to its microstructure, it has excellent dimensional stability after machining, without the need of stress relief or over thickness.
