Our offer at the level of cutting services is available to customers who purchase our steels but also by subcontracting only the customer's steel cutting service.
C 265
Description
It is the pillar of cold work. Having been developed around 1930, it continues to be used intensely. The 12% chromium steel tool remains the most commonly used steel for cold work tools worldwide. It is a tool steel with very good resistance to abrasive wear, but limited with respect to resistance to fracture. Being the basis of cold work applications, there are numerous advantages in its use, such as the knowledge of heat treatment and manufacturing parameters. For a tool of medium duration, where the main failure mechanism is abrasive wear, with low risk of fragmentation or cracking, it is the right choice.
