It consists in microspheres projection treatment on metal parts surfaces, in order to introduce compression stresses that are responsible for improvements of components resistance fatigue, since they prevent formation and growth of surface cracks.

Applied projection is not strong enough to change parts dimension. Projection also produces a smooth surface cleaning responsible for a more attractive appearance after carburizing.
